New Features & Enhancements

All modules / UI

• Split Feature: Added a full-screen mode in the split section when the Split function is enabled.

• Widget Type Persistence: If the user modifies the widget type, these changes will be saved and implemented in future sessions.

Grid

• Editable Grid Introduced:This version introduces the Editable Grid feature, providing enhanced interactivity and customization options.

• Group grid (no server side) : Options to Expand/Collapse rows with a right-click

Spreadsheet

• Added an option to include filters in exported spreadsheets.
• Expanded export format options to provide more flexibility when exporting spreadsheet data.

Steps

• Added new parameters such as role and parameters for custom functions in the Steps module.

• 'Next Step / Previous Step” Navigation:A new interactivity setting (available under the Interactivity section of widgets) allows for automatic step progression in stepper modules when a widget value is selected.(Note: Configuration is done within widget interactivity, not inside the Step module itself.)

Filter

• Added a search bar within the Filters field, allowing users to quickly locate filters by name or keyword.

Chatbot

• Universe Categories in Fields List: Universe categories now appear in the field list.

• Condition Section Enhancement: Universe categories are also visible in the condition section for improved clarity.

Date explorer

• Universe Category Display: Categories are now shown within the condition section for better visibility.

• Customizable Imported View Name: When copying a shared view locally, users can assign a custom name via a new modal.

• Enhanced Condition Handling: Users can now include both date and numeric values within condition expressions.

• Regex Support: Added the ability to perform searches using regular expressions for more powerful query customization.

Custom linking

• Compatibility Restrictions: Users can now flag tables or snippets as incompatible with specific items (a single element may be incompatible with multiple others). Compatibility can be tested using the 'Prevent linking' button

• Performance of Custom Linking Improved :This applies when custom linking is used to define your data model. When filters are applied at widget levels, queries are built in a more efficient way than in previous version.

Universe

• Multi-select Editing: Users can now move or delete multiple dimensions and measures at once.

• Category Descriptions: Added a field for category descriptions to improve metadata documentation.

Snippet

• Snippet Sorting: Snippets can now be sorted on the Administration page for easier organization and management.

Administration :

• A new Dictionaries feature allows administrators to replace occurrences of a Key Field with its corresponding Value Field dynamically throughout the platform.
• Language Settings: Administrators can now select platform languages (all available by default).

• Translation Export: Export labels from widgets, snippets, universes, and dashboards in XLS format via Maintenance -> Export Translations

• UI Snapshot: Generate view reflecting the user interface exactly as viewed by end users.
